Little Boy Stands Up Against Racism And Delivers Awesome Anthem... Again

Culture

If you watched last night's NBA finals, you may have noticed something totally amazing.  Remember Sebastien de la Cruz, the Mexican-American 11-year-old boy who sang the national anthem at the AT&T Center last Tuesday? He experienced a slew of online racism after some used social media to make the disturbing suggestion that he couldn't perform the anthem because of his ethnic background. Sebastien showed that he couldn't care less about them by giving an awesome rendition of the national anthem again last night at Game 4 of the playoffs. It was priceless.

"My father and my mama told me you should never judge people by how they look," the brave young boy told KENS-TV. This little boy is a star in the making.
