Ruth Hopkins (Cankudutawin- Red Road Woman) is a Dakota/Lakota Sioux writer, biologist, Tribal Judge, and an enrolled member of the Sisseton Wahpeton Sioux Tribe. Ruth lives on the Lake Traverse Reservation, in South Dakota, on Dakota Treaty lands.
