The First Trailer for Netflix's Next Hit Drama Is Here, and It's Utterly Confusing

House of Cards. Arrested Development. Orange Is the New Black. Bloodline.

All those words will be on everyone's lips come March, when Netflix unleashes its latest original series. Luckily for us, we don't have to wait that long to get a peek. The online streaming service premiered a brief, yet tantalizing look at the new show.

What just happened? Why is that boat on fire? What is Coach Taylor talking about? What bad thing did you do? Did you set that boat on fire? Inquiring minds would like to know.

According to Variety, Bloodline is set in the Florida Keys and focuses on a "close-knit family of four adult siblings whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother returns home." From the creators of Damages, the cast includes Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini, Sam Shepard, Sissy Spacek, Norbert Leo Butz, Jamie McShane, Jacinda Barrett and Enrique Murciano.

Besides being Netflix's latest attempt to divert eyes away from traditional cable with high-quality drama, the show marks a landmark development in Hollywood as well. As the Verge reports, Bloodline is a collaboration between Sony Pictures Television and Netflix, the first deal of its kind for the streaming service.

All 13 episodes will be made available to stream in March 2015 in all of Netflix's territories. Until then, we're going to watch the trailer repeat and probably revisit Friday Night Lights.
