"Most Hated Man in America" Says He'd Only Vote for Donald Trump "With a Gun to My Head"
So much for that endorsement.
Martin Shkreli, the reviled former pharmaceutical CEO who once raised the price of an HIV drug by 5,000%, reneged his apparent endorsement of presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump late Monday, saying he plans to abstain from voting for "crap candidates" in November.
Shkreli, nicknamed "Pharma Bro," had endorsed Trump last Thursday in a tweet, despite Trump once calling Shkreli a "disgrace" and a "spoiled brat."
"I haven't been called by the Trump camp. I support him vs. Hillary," Trump tweeted. "He should find a VP candidate who is seasoned in politics, an ugly game."
It's unlikely that the Trump campaign is losing sleep over Shkreli's reneged endorsement. Shkreli — who's also earned the title of "the most hated man in America" — is currently awaiting trial on federal securities fraud charges.
