iOS 10.2 new emojis: Here's what you're going to get in the latest iPhone update

Impact

It seems that with each new emoji update comes another pile of dirt on the written word's grave. RIP, or, more befittingly, skull emoji coffin emoji.

The latest Emojipedia update reveals a full list of 72 new emojis coming in iOS 10.2, one of which takes the labor out of typing out that character-riddled shrugging emoticon. The beloved ambivalent shruggie will soon sit pretty in your emoji keyboard.

Emojipedia described the shrugging emoji —  also known as ¯\_(?)_/¯ — as "a person shrugging their shoulders to indicate a lack of knowledge about a particular topic, or a lack of care about the result of a situation."

Can't wait to indicate my cool lack of interest in one swift click.

Among the other 72 new emojis expected to roll out in update operating systems are a man in tuxedo, a pregnant woman, a gorilla (dicks out), an eagle (god bless America) and a face palm (a fitting response to the indifferent shruggie). You can see the full list here
