It's been one year since the devastating death of music icon David Bowie. The legend died on Jan. 10, 2016 after a battle with cancer.

On Tuesday, his wife Iman Abdulmajid shared an image of a rainbow over the New York City skyline.

Iman captioned the image with several hashtags, including #ForeverAndEver #ForeverLove and #BowieForever. What makes the one year anniversary of the icon's death even more unfortunate is that Bowie would have turned 70 just a few days before, on Jan. 8.

Iman has been remembering her late husband over the past few days on Instagram, sharing several posts and even a photo of the couple:

Iman and Bowie were married for almost 24 years and have a daughter together, Alexandria Zahra Jones.
