Over the fiscal cliff for United States, no vote in House tonight

Impact

It's official.  The United States will be going over the fiscal cliff tonight.  Rep Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said there will be no votes tonight in the House on the fiscal cliff.

The House Republicans are scheduled to caucus tonight at 5pm EST, according to sources.  When you think about it, a fiscal cliff vote on January 1 technically means the GOP can vote for a tax cut.  Will that happen?
