Jodie Foster Wins Cecil B. Demille Award at 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Jodie Foster is this year's choice for the Cecil B. Demille lifetime achievement award at the 70th annual Golden Globes. 

Jodie Foster is an actor, director, producer and Academy Award winner. Foster has won two Golden Globes in the past; one for her role in The Accused (1989), and for her role in Silence of the Lambs (1992). Foster was nominated five other times, most recently for her role in the film Carnage. 

In her speech Foster repeatedly thanked her life partner and made allusions to retiring from the business of acting.
