Adele Wins Best Pop Solo Performance Of the Year

The 24-year-old "Set Fire to the Rain" singer snagged the Grammy...and kept her acceptance speech very short and sweet. She's a woman of few words in formal addresses, but definitely not in her songs.

Adele beat out Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Rihanna. May the others enjoy the rest of the night regardless! Jepsen has one more shot at getting a Grammy and Clarkson and Rihanna have two. Maybe next year will be better for you , Katy Perry? I'd say everyone else will be just fine without this particular accolade.
