Who Won Best Director: Ang Lee

Ang Lee won the Oscar for Best Director for his work on Life of Pi, which has already won several Academy Awards throughout the night. Lee beat out fellow nominees Michael Haneke, David O. Russell, Steven Spielberg, and Benh Zeitlin, and, many would argue, Ben Affleck, who's Oscar snub many would deem the biggest surprise of the Oscar nominations.

Lee also won the Best Director Oscar in 2005 for Brokeback Mountain. Congratulations to Lee on his win, and perhaps more impressively, his nearly 30-year marriage!
