Countdown or countup?

There's a counter on another page on this site now, timing Rand's stand. I'd like to start my own betting pool on a count down to when he devolves into profanity and non-sequitors. Midnight? Oddly, I think that would be really effective: "Pakistanis on backs of turtles, nah. They're in Washington... f-ing ALL the way down."
