Crazy Ending to Opening Round Game in the Atlantic 10 Tournament

This time of year leads to a lot of crazy things.  Rarely do we see a team melt down like this.  With 4.7 seconds left, Richmond led Charlotte 63-60.  Fewer than 5 seconds and 11 free-throws later for the 49ers, Charlotte escapes victorious 68-63.  This was in part to three technical fouls for the Spiders.  Watch the above clip to attempt to wrap your head around what is going on, but the motto of this time of year is "survive and advance" as the 49ers live to see another day while the Spiders season is almost definitely over.
