Kansas City Chiefs Draft Pick: Eric Fisher, Central Michigan, Offensive Tackle

Culture

Eric Fisher

Offensive Tackle from Central Michigan

Fisher becomes the highest player drafted in MAC history, surpassing Byron Leftwich who went 7th in 2003. This marks the first time the Chiefs have selected an offensive player in the top ten since 1986 when they selected Brian Jozwiak (OT, West Virginia). Jozwiak played three forgettable seasons for KC before suffering a career-ending hip injury.

Tip of the hat to Jay Glazer over at Fox Sports for reporting that Fisher would be the first player selected in the 2013 NFL Draft.
