That's All Folks, but More to Follow Tomorrow

Impact

The severe weather has somewhat subsided in the OKC metro area now. The regions affected still remain under a tornado watch. So far the damage reports from the area indicate 5 dead, 1 missing, and over a hundred injured.

My coverage for today is drawing to a close and I will be out in full force tomorrow to observe the damage here in Norman, and possibly over in El Reno as well.

The good news is, all of the relief efforts aimed at central Oklahoma will also cover the regions affected today. So please help the continuing relief efforts:

The Red Cross — The best way to assist families is to make a donation to www.redcross.org/okc or www.redcross.org or texting REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

The United Way of Central Oklahoma’s Disaster Relief Fund — Donations can be made online at www.unitedwayokc.org or by mail to United Way of Central Oklahoma, P.O. Box 837, Oklahoma City, OK 73101 with notation for May Tornado Relief.
