Jon Stewart Has a Profanity-Laden Message for the Mainstream Media

Impact

The conservative media recently tried to use Jon Stewart's comedy in order to criticize the Affordable Care Act — and Stewart wasn't too happy about it.

Responding to the media (well, mostly Fox News) in a hilarious Daily Show segment, Stewart called out the media in the harshest terms imaginable, telling them — quite pointedly — to "go fuck" themselves.

The Daily Show

In the segment, Stewart played several clips of cable news pundits who debated what effect "losing Jon Stewart" would have on the nation's dialogue about Obamacare. The most hilarious point came when a Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) said on Fox News that Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius should resign after being lampooned by the comedian, to which Stewart responded, beautifully, "If that causes things to end, why was the network you were on still on the air?"

The fact that the conservative media is still talking about Obamacare, and that — to lampoon it — they're citing a overtly liberal comedian, is seriously troubling. Will Republicans ever accept that Obamacare is here to stay?

Something tells me the answer is no.
