Alex Beene is a college mentor for the State of Tennessee. A constant traveler and advocate for global human rights, he's been to over 20 countries and has a degree in TESL from the University of California, Los Angeles. His work has been featured in various publications throughout the Southeastern United States, where he received his B.A. and M.A. in Journalism from the University of Mississippi.
