Amnah received her BA from Fordham University in 2011 with a double major in International Studies with a Middle East concentration and Philosophy. She was born in Baghdad, Iraq and speaks Iraqi colloquial and Levantine colloquial Arabic. She currently works for a non-profit legal organization in New York and volunteers with the Iraqi Student Project, an organization which seeks undergraduate education in the US for Iraqi students who were displaced by the 2003 war.
