Andrea Pyros

Andrea Pyros is a commerce writer covering beauty for Bustle Digital Group. Before her time with Bustle, she held senior-level editorial positions at a variety of publications, including at Conde Nast, G&J USA, and Bauer Media. She was a co-founder of Girls on Film, a pop culture website that received praise from Entertainment Weekly, USA Today, The New York Times and others, and the co-author of the GIRLS ON FILM book, published by HarperCollins. The site was ultimately acquired by Geraldine Laybourne’s Oxygen Media. Andrea has also written for Gannett, LifetimeTV.com, MSNBC.com, Hachette, RetailMeNot, and more. Andrea earned her undergraduate degree at Vassar College and her master’s from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, where she specialized in emerging media. Andrea grew up in New York City and now lives in New York’s Hudson Valley with her husband, their two children, and their dog, Rye. She is the author of two middle-grade novels, PINK HAIR AND OTHER TERRIBLE IDEAS and MY YEAR OF EPIC ROCK.
