Andrew was the Editor - Video for Mic Visions, Mic's longform original video team. He also writes as a contributor when the muse descends. Before Mic, Andrew was a producer, correspondent and editor at Business Insider Films, BI's longform original video team. Previously, he was an associate producer for CNN Digital working on a proprietary mobile project in both an editorial and product capacity; he also contributed multiple articles to CNN.com. Raised in Little Rock, AR, Andrew attended Northwestern University, receiving degrees in communications and political science. After working on the business side of the media industry for five years, he decided to move into production and accepted a Roy H. Park Fellowship at UNC-Chapel Hill. He completed his M.A. in Media & Journalism in May of 2015.
