Dan Gerstein is a nationally recognized political consultant, commentator, and most recently, the founder and president of New York's only full-service writing firm. Gerstein spent more than 10 years in Washington as a senior communications aide, policy advisor, and speechwriter for Senator Joe Lieberman. He served as national spokesman for Lieberman's vice-presidential campaign in 2000 and as a senior strategist on Lieberman's presidential run in 2003-4. After moving to New York, Gerstein established his own political communications consulting practice, advising a broad range of issue advocacy groups and a handful of political campaigns. Earlier this year, Gerstein launched Gotham Ghostwriters, which specializes in writing speeches, op-eds, reports, white papers and books for major corporations, foundations, and organization across the country that work in the thought leadership arena. In addition to running Gotham, Gerstein is regular columnist for Forbes.com and a frequent contributor to Wall Street Journal and The Politico. He also appears regularly as a political analyst on Fox News, MSNBC, and CNN.
