Da’Shan Smith is a freelance music journalist based out of NYC. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in TV/Film from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He has written music and Pop Culture pieces for The Tab, Rhizome, and Bloggaz With Attitude. Da’Shan currently runs his own music blog entitled Lyr-i-cal-ly Speaking, with his mother, and he considers himself a “Rihanna scholar”.
