I have been writing for many years. I started writing through my engagement with public affairs. The highlight of this was my November 2011 article in the Guardian U.K. about the Occupy Moment. This wasn’t the beginning of my political involvement, however, before this time I had run for White Plains City Council as a third party candidate. I also fought Wal Mart to try and stop them from coming to my home town. In addition to writing for the Guardian I have written for The Platypus Review and Tidal. I also appear in Todd Gitlen’s book, “Occupy Nation”. Much of my writing deals with the experience of being a millennial particularly, within a financial crisis. As well as being a writer myself I have also appeared in The New York Times, The American Prospect and the White Plains Times.
