Deena is a journalist from Cairo. She cares about politics, freedom of expression, women's rights and animal rights. She holds a BA in Journalism & Mass Communication and is currently completing a Digital Journalism certificate. She has made it her duty to contribute to the current reform process in her country and is fascinated with the effects of revolution on other aspects of life, such as the revival of Egypt’s Arts & Culture Scene.
