Gurjot Kaur

Gurjot Kaur is a Staff Attorney at the Sikh Coalition, the largest Sikh civil rights organization in the U.S. Gurjot provides legal services to victims of hate crimes, employment discrimination, public accommodations discrimination, profiling and other forms of discrimination. Gurjot has appeared on panels on racial profiling and post-9/11 backlash issues and published pieces following last year's mass shooting at a Sikh gurdwara in Oak Creek, WI. Gurjot is licensed to practice law in Florida, New Jersey, and New York and is admitted to the U.S. District Court of New Jersey. Gurjot earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University at Buffalo Law School, where she was a three-year recipient of the Arthur A. Schomburg Fellowship.
