Huma holds a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Seton Hall University. Her research interests focus on bottom-up development efforts within Afghanistan, and women's rights issues in the Af-Pak region. She previously interned with The Agenda Project, and Global Action to Prevent War where she monitored the United Nations General Assembly 1st Committee on Disarmament and International Security.
