James Shulmeister

Jamie Shulmeister is a geomorphologist and Quaternary Scientist who specialises in the long-term climate history of the Australasian region. He has run a major ARC Discovery project on the last glacial maximum in SE Australia and co-leads the Southern Hemisphere Last Glacial Maximum project. He is currently a Professor in the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of Queensland but is moving to New Zealand in early 2020 to take up the role of Head of School of Earth and Environment at the University of Canterbury.
