I am a university student studying politics and journalism. I grew up in Connecticut, and initially became interest in politics due to the the activism of a neighbor who was a few years older than me. As I began to look more into political news and develop opinions of my own, I was told that I should look into writing my thoughts professionally, and began to take courses to that end when I began college.
