Born and brought up in India, Surabhi is constantly venturing into new forms of exploring different ways with which to understand the world - both in macro perspectives, and in micro stories. She has a background in research and policy analysis, a Masters degree in Development Studies from the LSE, and is an avid traveler/wanderer. Before completing her undergraduate degree, she contemplated a career as a dancer, but decided otherwise when she began to work for an urban youth organization on multiple social issues. During her undergraduate years, she also volunteered with many different NGO's across the country on several development and governance issues.
