Tom Daley Gay Rumors: Diver Gets Underarm Tattoo and Wears Magic Mike Costume on TV

Tom Daley, the 18-year-old British diver who won bronze at the London 2012 Olympics and became an instant sensation both in the UK and abroad, has gotten a new tattoo – according to Mail Online.

The Plymouth College student, who recently obtained straight As to top off his Olympic glory, will be appearing in a pre-recorded segment of the British “chat” program The Jonathan Ross Show on ITV – along with English model Kelly Brook and fellow Olympian Jamaican runner Usain Bolt.

Judging by the pictures posted by Mail Online the diver wears nothing but his signature Speedo as well as a shirt’s collar, cuffs and a tie – perhaps mimicking the attire of the famous male exotic dancers of “Chippendales” (or the ones from the movie Magic Mike) It is unclear if the diver got the underarm Olympic rings tattoo before or after taping the show.

Daley, along with other Olympians such as fellow British Sarah Barrow, Chris Mears and –reportedly – American swimmer Missy Franklin, succumbed to the temptation of inking their otherwise clean cut and wholesome physiques to celebrate their Olympic triumphs. Daley revealed it was his mom, who mentioned the fact that the busy diver “hasn’t had a proper girlfriend,” who gave him the voucher for a tattoo for his 18th birthday.

Britain’s new Golden Boy, and for many the successor of pop culture icon, model, footballer and Spice Girl husband David Beckham, appeared early in the week at a book signing – showing off his medal to the large crowd of rabid fans who attended to get their “Daley fix” (in a kind of frenzy usually seen at Justin Bieber’s concerts and Apple products’ releases).
