Poet Nails the Problem With “White Feminism” in Under 90 Seconds
"White feminism is about as feminist as Dr. Pepper is a medical doctor."
That's the gist of slam poet Rachel Wiley's fiery poem "The Dozens" about the difference between intersectional feminism and white feminism.
Intersectional feminism is "actual fucking feminism," Wiley said — as opposed to white feminism, which culturally appropriates and excludes women of color from its rhetoric.
