Oscars 2013 Date and Time

The 85th Annual Academy Awards will take place Sunday February 24 beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC. Red carpet coverage will begin a few hours earlier at 5:30 p.m.

The awards are notorious for running long but if all goes according to plan they should be over at 11:00 p.m. sharp. We'll have to wait and see if host Seth MacFarlane is able to stick to that schedule.
