Kaitlin Primrose, quadruple-crown-certified trainer with Do More With Your Dog and chief author at Play Bark Run, says that treats aren’t the only reward you can use to get your dog to behave. “Your dog may be infatuated with a ball, tug toy, or even just lots of praise,” she states.
