Gabriela Schneider is is Chief Communications Officer at Issue One, and a veteran strategic communications professional with 15 years experience working at the intersection of politics, technology and social good. Before joining Issue One, she spent eight years as the Communications Director of the Sunlight Foundation, a nonpartisan nonprofit that advocates for open government and creates user-friendly civic tech apps and data to build greater public understanding about government and political power. Gabriela has a masters of arts in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor of arts in journalism from Lehigh University, where she proudly served as general manager of its radio station, WLVR.
