Jonathan is the managing editor at Mic. Previously he was the editor-in-chief of VICE, and the U.S. editor of 'Huck' magazine. Jonathan moved to New York from North Carolina in 2008 to pursue a career in journalism. In addition to writing and editing, he has produced and hosted videos, and taught educational workshops on editorial standards around the world. Despite every screaming alarm bell his aging body sends him, he still rides a skateboard regularly. He tweets sporadically at @jonathan_smth.
