Martha has been a writer and editor for over 10 years, specializing in commerce, entertainment, and lifestyle content. As an avid shopper herself, she loves finding and recommending the perfect products for readers (and buying many of them herself). In addition to her BDG work, she has contributed to publications like Woman’s Day, Parade, INSIDER, Refinery29, CafeMom, Better Homes & Gardens, Country Living, and more. She graduated with a BFA in writing from the Pratt Institute where she was also Editor-in-Chief of the school magazine for two years.
When not writing professionally, Martha enjoys publishing poetry and personal essays on her Substack. In her spare time, she can often be found watching reality TV, marathoning the latest Netflix release, or catching up on true crime documentaries. As a frequent multitasker, she’s usually scrolling her favorite retail websites at the same time. She’s also a pun-enthusiast who loves the ocean, the royal family, and instant ramen. She will passionately defend movie sequels, especially Lion King 2.
