Tamara Barsik is Director of Communications for the Circassian Cultural Institute and a founding member of the No Sochi 2014 Committee. Working in grassroots advocacy for the last 7 years has led to building the Circassian political base at the international level. Ms. Barsik works with an extensive international network of Circassian organizations both in Diaspora and inside the Caucasus. Ms. Barsik has also done extensive work in Europe including the Baltic states, as well as Georgia, where she helped write and submit the resolution on Circassian Genocide recognition. Today, Ms. Barsik continues her work in fostering goodwill and is a spokesperson for the No Sochi campaign.
